During the Christmas break we received notification from the Department for Education that there is to be an extension this term in relation to the securing of codes for parents of children who might be eligible for 30 hours of early education in the spring term 2018
The DfE have extended the original deadline of 31 December 2017 to 11 January 2018, therefore providers are now authorised to accept and validate codes dated up to 11 January 2018.
In order to be eligible parents must have a valid code and the child must have had their third birthday before 31 December 2017. If you have any parents contact you this week to say that they have missed the 31 December 2017 deadline please encourage them to secure a code from HMRC (see link below) as a matter of urgency to enable you to validate this by 11 January.
